Smiley face clip art has taken the Internet by storm. These free emoticons are being downloaded at a record pace and it seems as though people can’t get enough of them. The smilies are sent through MSN IM or through other instant messengers. People even tag emails. Smiley faces have permeated the consciousness of the world! There are sad smileys, happy smileys, mad smileys, crazy smileys, colored smileys…laughing smileys. The list goes on and on.

Plus there’s an emoticon for every occasion; birthday smileys, Christmas smileys, Thanksgiving smileys, and as a matter of fact there’s even funeral smileys. Of course if somebody dies I’m not sure he (or she) has anything to smile about. Then again, maybe the relatives of the deceased will be receiving a mass fortune once probate goes through. That “might” be something to smile about )

Smiley face clip art has a lot of uses. Many web designers dip into the emoticon basket to add a little website flavor for their clients. What if you could have a smiley that talks?
